Who we are

We are a friendly and unpretentious walking club based on the Fylde Coast in Lancashire.

Our trips run every week, alternating between our Saturday walks one week (a shorter day, based mainly around Lancashire), and our alternating full day Sunday walks (which venture further afield).

Popular destinations for our Sunday outings are the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Derbyshire's Peak District and occasionally North Wales and even as far as Hadrians Wall!

We provide various coach collection points between Blackpool, Cleveleys, Thornton-Cleveleys, Poulton le Fylde, and (in the case or the Saturday walks, an extra pick up in Lytham St Annes).

See here for our coach pick up stops.

All walks (rambles) have experienced leaders and are graded to suit different levels of fitness.

Walking offers a multitude of benefits for both physical and mental well-being. Physically, it enhances cardiovascular fitness, strengthens muscles, and improves flexibility, making it a fantastic form of exercise. Mentally, spending time in nature has been shown to reduce stress, boost mood, and increase overall happiness. The opportunity to disconnect from everyday life while exploring scenic trails allows for reflection and mindfulness.

Additionally, walking with a group such as Fylde Coast Ramblers can foster social connections, as it provides a perfect backdrop for enjoying the company of friends and fellow walkers.

Embrace the joy of the trails and reap the rewards for body and mind!
